this is teen romance: this is the plot: When 16 year old Leah's father dies unexpectedly she doesn't know what to do. So after many arguments with her mother she finally decided to got to summer camp. This is her second year as consular and they really wanted her back. The only problem is her sisters boyfriend, Mason, is going. Leah, has to say good bye to amazing boyfriend Ryan and endure a month of Mason and his lame jokes that are mostly about her. But what she doesnt know is that Mason actually cares about her and is about to prove it at camp when she needs that 'shoulder to cry one.' will he become more than that? Because Mason has his own secrets. and this may be the time to tell. this is the beginning:“You are the luckiest girl alive!” Jenny Garner screamed as soon as she closed the bed room door. Leah Evans looked at her and rolled her eyes. Jenny was funny, beautiful, talented, smart, nice, annoying, stubborn, and big headed. But Leah and Jenny have been best friend since first grade. The fact that they looked alike is what made them friends. Their appearances took off in different directions after a few years but they are still like sisters. “What are you talking about?” Leah asked sounding like she didn’t know. Jenny jumped on Leah’s bed and watched her best friend pack the large orange and pink suitcase. “You know exactly what I am talking about. My best friend Leah is going to be spending one month, only surrounded by strangers, with the hottest guy in our school!” “Oh that,” Leah said. She sighed and ran a hand through her long wavy brown hair. Sometimes she wanted to hit Jenny. It was so boring listening to her talk about how hot Mason Andrews is. It’s not like she didn’t know herself. After seeing him every day for the past five months, his hotness was even more noticeable. Jenny through her brown hair into a messy bun and walked over to Leah. “Listen, just because he is dating your witch of a sister I think it’s okay if you stress your opinion. I mean it’s not every day that you get to be only feet away from Mason.” Leah giggled. “I have a boyfriend, Jenny, and his name is Ryan.” Jenny frowned and shook her head before saying, “Whatever. Let me help you pack. I know you have a terrible sense of fashion.” Leah smiled and moved over so her friend could help. The two girls were toppled over in laughter and that was when Jenny ruined the mood. “Imagine what your father would say if he saw us. I can hear him right now,” she paused and continued trying to imitate Mr. Evans voice, “‘I hope you girls aren’t talking about me again, you better settle down because I know I’m not that funny.” Leah sighed. “I never did understand his lame jokes. But he always made us laugh even harder.” “Yeah, can you believe it has been two months since her, you know, died?” Jenny whispered. Leah shook her head. It was still a surprise to her. He was young only in his early forties. But Leah knew it was going to be hard and that was why her mom suggested that she go to summer camp for a month. The only problem is she had to endure the road trip and the next month with Mason. Her sister, Casey, has been dating Mason the past five months and she never got used to the idea. What really hurt was having to leave her boyfriend of three months. She couldn’t believe that he was that supportive. “Well, I have to get going. I will stop by tomorrow to say goodbye,” Jenny said as she slid off the bed. Leah nodded and got of the bed with her. They headed down stairs and she watched Jenny leave. “Hey, Lee lee,” Mason Andrews said. and what do you think of the characters? i know you dont get to know Leah much but her character developeds though the story. and dont say i dont like it because its cliche. i mean what if i said she didnt end up dating her sisters boyfriend? then what is that still cliche and she didnt cheat on ryan, maybe they break up. take that in to consideration...
